How to Download a Twitch Stream Video

Twitch is the biggest live streaming platform for gamers on the internet, with over 2 million monthly broadcasters and 15 million active users. With its large audience, the platform offers a wide variety of games to play and even has a dedicated channel for gamers who want to showcase their gameplay videos.

As a streamer, you may want to download your own broadcast videos for offline viewing or sharing. Fortunately, there are several methods that you can use to do so. In this article, we’ll show you how to do so using different third-party software programs. Depending on your computer’s operating system, the amount of additional devices connected to your network, and any background running programs, you might have to wait for some time before you can finish downloading a video from Twitch.

If you’re a Twitch streamer, you can enable archiving on your channel by going to your settings and toggle on “Store past broadcasts.” After enabling this setting, you’ll be able to see your previous streams as VODs  Twitch Stream Video Download Video On Demand on your channel.

From there, you can choose the option “Video Producer” and then “Past Broadcast.” You can then select a VOD to download it from there.

When you’re prompted to confirm the download, make sure that it’s for personal use and that you have permission from the video’s creator.
